La Couleur: Bleue
1.Color Palette Play: Create a game that focuses solely on experimenting with different color palettes. Each room should use a unique palette, and players should be able to cycle through them to see how colors affect mood and atmosphere.
2a. Instead of using multiple color palettes, I focused solely on how many different ways the color blue could be used, was I successful in doing this?
2b. As the creator of the game, you know where you want the player to go to continue the storyline but as the player, did you have trouble finding out where to go or was it relatively easy?

The story was interesting and made me want to play more of the game, the transformation at the end of the game was a great ending to the game and was really cool to see unfold.
The story is very interesting. I felt like I went on a journey!
2a) Definitely successful, there were even ways that using different shades of blue conveyed emotion. It is cool to see the nuance / emotional range of just one color on display here.
2b) The snow part confused me only because it didn't immediately occur to me that I had to go up and around the white blocks of snow. That could've just been specific to me though. Overall the direction of where to go was very clear and intuitive throughout.
Amazing game. Blue is my favorite color. I really enjoyed the transitions from one form of blue to the next. The world building is solid. The animations are really well done. The story was easy enough to follow. I did miss the first tear drop on the first page. A way to remediate this, could be to lock the room until the objective of the story is met. Or making it impossible not to interact with the sprite on your way though the room.
Before I answer the questions, I just want to say that this was a really delightful mini game to play! The writing was great!!!
2a) I think you were extremely effective in using many different shades of blue to convey your story. While most of the colors were all still blue, each environment was rich and unique in its own way.
2b) getting to the glacier was a little bit of a challenge for me, but other than that I think it was easy to figure out what direction the game was trying to steer me.
2a.) The little story is cute and I like use of value and tone to create a lighter or darker atmosphere with the one colour.
2b.) It got a little confusing in places, especially when the barrier could be broken (on the snowy hill there's some snow that isn't a wall, and you can get above the invisible barrier) but overall, the dialogue and the unique sprites made it intuitive on where to go.
2a.) I liked the unique take on the prompt by focusing solely on blue. Throughout the game the changes are still very noticeable and change the mood even though its monochromatic. For me this is successful.
2b.) I found out where to go on the first try mostly due to the way the tiles were designed artistically and also the dialog from the sprites. I think that the pathing is relatively intuitive.
